TÜRKİYE’DE SOSYAL YARDIMLARIN TARİHSEL GELİŞİMİ VE MEVCUT DURUMU

ÖZ

Yoksulluk, gerek gelişmiş gerekse az gelişmiş ülkelerin karşı kaşıya olduğu temel sorunların başında gelmektedir. Türkiye’de yoksullukla mücadele alanında yapılmakta olan sosyal yardım faaliyetleri farklı kurum ve kuruluşlar tarafından yürütülmekte olup, temel amaç ülkedeki yoksulluk oranını asgari düzeye indirebilmektir.

Bu makalemizde Türkiye’de kişilere sağlanan sosyal yardımların Cumhuriyet öncesi ve Cumhuriyet sonrası olmak üzere tarihçesi ile günümüzdeki mevcut durumu, hangi kurum ve kuruluşlar tarafından sağlandığı, sağlanan sosyal yardım türleri gibi konular incelenmektedir.

ABSTRACT

Poverty is one of the main problems faced by both developed and less developed countries. Social assistance activities in the field of combating poverty in Turkey are carried out by different institutions and organizations, and the main purpose is to minimize the poverty rate in the country.

In this article, subjects such as the history and current status of social assistance provided to individuals in Turkey, both before and after the Republic, by which institutions and organizations, and the types of social assistance provided are examined.
