SHIFTS AND NEW TRENDS ON HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS AFTER COVID-19

ABSTRACT

COVID-19 has caused social distancing and the length of the pandemic is still unknown. The most affected sector because of the virus is the healthcare sector for sure. Even before this global epidemic, there has been shortness in healthcare system in terms of labor force and Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E). After the outbreak of the pandemic, health officials all over the world started to find new ways to solve the crisis. But, the adaption to the new normal would not be so easy and a wide collaboration is a must for the success.

COVID-19, sosyal mesafeye sebebiyet vermiştir ve pandeminin etkisinin ne kadar daha devam edeceği henüz bilinmemektedir. Pek tabii ki, virüsten en çok etkilenen sektörler sıralamasında sağlık sektörü zirvedeki yerini korumaktadır. Küresel salgın öncesi dönemde bile, sağlık sisteminde işgücü ve gayrimenkul, tesis ve ekipman özelinde noksanlıklar vardı. Pandeminin küresel düzeyde yayılması sonrasında, sağlık yetkilileri krizi çözmek için yeni yollar arayışına başladı. Fakat, yeni normale uyum zaman alacaktır ve başarıya ulaşmak için geniş bir işbirliğine ihtiyaç bulunmaktadır.
